As one of my participating families you will receive:
OPTIONAL STYLING CONSULTATION: I will be available to you for wardrobe help - color, style, and how to bring it all together so you feel like your fabulous selves.
SUPER FUN AND EASY PORTRAIT SESSION: We will meet at my studio in Sutter Creek for about half an hour to an hr. We'll get those great smiling portraits and some more relaxed candids as well, to capture your family as you truly are.
25 CUSTOM HOLIDAY CARDS: Choose from dozens of beautiful designs, drop in your favorite images from our session, tweak to your heart's desire, finish up with premium envelopes, fully addressed and needing nothing but a stamp when they arrive at your door! You will receive your coupon code at the time of your gallery upload.
PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE: You will receive one 7x10" matted fine art portrait print (a $399 value). Additional photographs, items OR upgrades to my special holiday priced collections are available for purchase.

HI, I'M ZITA,
Zita Makkos is an internationally recognized Portrait Master Associate photographer based in Amador County, California. She specializes in magazine-style portraits, creating stunning imagery for beauty, families, boudoir, headshots, and pets.
With a career for almost two decades, Zita has photographed people across Hungary, Australia, and, since 2015, in Northern California. Her work has continually evolved, earning her the title of Best of Calaveras Professional Photographer & Studio in 2020.
In September 2023, she expanded her home-based studio to a beautiful, welcoming new space at 71 Main Street in Sutter Creek, Amador County.
This larger studio allows her to serve clients from both Calaveras & Amador, San Joaquin, Sacramento and surrounding counties—welcoming those who wish to turn their portrait session into a special day in the charming town of Sutter Creek. Can I use my session on different days or in the future?
Unfortunately these sessions are specifically designed around my family life and other bookings and events happenings in town, so at this moment only the dedicated dates are available. However times can be customized within limits. If you can only come by 10:30am instead of 10am that can be done, just need to be discussed prior to booking.
Can I bring my pets to the session?
Yes, absolutely, there is no extra fee for pets. However I do require that you indicate it after booking, so I can prepare accordingly. Please include the name, and age and breed of your pet.
What should I wear?
Since it's a studio session, dress accordingly. I'd avoid heavy patterns, logos etc. I will share my Pinterest board clothing ideas, and will be helping you select your perfect outfit whether it's classy, casual, semi formal, or cocktail style.
How long does it take to see my images in the gallery?
I will do my best to upload your gallery within 72hrs. Then you will have another 72hrs to make your selection and indicate your 5 favorites. The gallery will be basic edited, any extra editing will happen 24hrs before your download. You will only be able to download the final edited images.
Will I be able to purchase more or upgrade to a package?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to receive a special pricing for any upgrade.
Can I gift this session to one of my family members?
Yes, you can, however you will need to arrange that they are free on these given days, and they are up for it. You can't gift it as a gift card, you will have to just pay for them, but they will have to fill out the form with their names.
What if my kids are sick or can't show up?
Due to the limited dates and times available, unfortunately your missed session cannot be refunded. I do understand that life can happen, therefore I can credit it to you for a further session but has to be used within 3 months of your missed session. That session will not contain the extra 5 digital files, the matted print, the holiday cards or the special holiday upgrade pricing.
